What We Offer

We are aware that many people are confused about what is available at colleges and universities, how much a course will cost and how to go about applying for a course. We have contacts across the whole of Lincolnshire and Rutland so that we can provide you with correct information tailored to your precise needs. Through our database of courses and links with the Lincolnshire and Rutland Local Credit Framework we will also be able to provide you with information on pathways to that ultimate educational goal you seek even if you currently do not appear to possess the stated entry qualifications.

For many people the decision to extend their current learning is a major one and full of uncertanties. We hope to be able to help you to achieve your learning goals by providing advice and support services at a local level. Some of our services are detailed below.

What courses are available

Circuit BoardThe college and universities in Lincolnshire offer an amazing variety of courses on a wide range of subjects.
Not only do the colleges offer complete courses in a variety of subjects, they also offer Access Courses leading to entrance to the various universities. Our universities provide both full time and part time courses in many subjects at Degree, Masters and Doctorate level.

How much will it cost

Money IllustrationDepending upon your personal circumstances you may find that you do not have to pay for many of the courses offered at colleges. At university level it is almost inevitable that you will have to contribute in some way to the cost of your course but we will have access to many organisations that might be able to provide you with assistance.

How do I apply for a course

Application form imageFor some courses you need to apply directly to the college or university while for others you will apply through central clearing houses. We will guide you through the process and, if necessary, provide you with advice on completing the appropriate application forms.

What support is there at college or university

Sign postMost colleges and universities have student support services that are free for you to use while you are studying. To complement these we will be forming local support groups at a place near to your home. Here you will be able to share experiences with other people and talk to real students on what life is really like at college or university. We hope also to be able to provide real answers to any problems about college or university life that may be bothering you.
